Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Drives physician and clinician engagement through relationship building, analytical, and educational efforts to achieve maximum support and utilization of clinical protocols and formularies. Provides strategic, operational, and tactical support to both market based executives and directors. Support use of preferred medical products across Sanford enterprise and affiliates through in person collaboration and communication with surgeons, physicians, nursing, and clinical leaders. Responsible for on-site communication and physician and clinical engagement, supporting product and equipment conversions and practice changes. Supports Sanford Value Analysis Teams (SVAT) through organizational engagement of identification, evaluation, and implementation of product decisions and utilization management to lower total supply costs. Builds understanding and support for superior patient outcomes through enterprise standardization of clinical practice and associated products in a transparent manner. Manages product and equipment trials including compiling and summarizing evaluation responses. Responsible for successful conversion information and timelines to hand off to operations. Will be assigned to specific facilities and is expected to spend a significant amount of time rounding on units and staff meetings. Develop long term strategies that include supplier support in maintaining best clinical practice, staff education, formulary compliance, and superior outcomes. Triages and resolves customer concerns. Builds relationships with customers through interactions and support in a highly professional manner.
Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in state(s) of practice. Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field required; MBA degree and experience as RN in procedural areas is highly preferred.
