JOB SUMMARY

Provide consultation services to physicians and staff in the application of physics in externally delivered ionizing radiation or internally implanted radioactive sources. Oversee the use of radiation in radiation oncology to ensure safety and compliance with professional accreditations as well as state and federal requirements.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Board Certified preferred, but board eligible will be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics in Therapeutic Physics, Therapeutic Medical Physics or Therapeutic Radiologic Physics. Must be registered with the North Dakota State Department of Health. Masters degree in physics, medical physics, biophysics or radiological physics, with specialized training in radiation therapy physics. Must have at least two years experience working in a radiation oncology department with responsibilities in radiation t
